Biography:
| Alec Gillis was born in Phoenix,
Arizona in 1959. By age 10 he was a big fan of Sci Fi and Fantasy
films. He moved to LA in 1982, where he began to work on
films. He worked as crew for Stan Winston Studios for many years,
having a hand in films, like Alien Nation and Leviathan in 1988 &
1989. He later started Amalgamated
Dynamics, Inc., a Special Effects company, with Tom Woodruff,
Jr. Recent Appearances 2009 May 29-31-Monster Palooza 2009 in Burbank, CA, USA with Tom Woodruff, Jr. 2008 September 14th- at Dark Delicacies in Burbank, California. This is was a special two hour event. Official site: www.darkdel.com 2007 May 18th- Alec Gillis and Tom Woodruff attended the Creation Entertainment convention to promote AVP 2 in Burbank, CA. Also, a film Tom Woodruff wrote and directed, called My Cousin's Keeper was shown. 2006 July 15 & 16th- Mr. Gillis was at the Hollywood Collector Show in Burbank, CA. |
