| Biography:
Maddox was born in Bathurst, New Brunswick, Canada in 1986. He’s
moved around a bit growing up, but has been committed to Fredericton
since 2004 while he has been finishing off his Bachelor of Arts/
Bachelor of Computer Science (Creative Writer/ Theater) degree at the
University of New Brunswick. Go Reds!
Maddox got his start in drama
through competitive Improv. in high school. He eventually got into
scripted work through the UNB Theater program, having completed the
majority of their Fine Arts in Theater Minor already. He had parts in The Madwoman of Chaillot, The
Witch, and Unity (1918) for
TUNB. Maddox
moved into film with roles in two NB Film-Cooperative productions, one
short, Temple of the Sapphire Moon,
and one feature length, They Didn’t
Make It. His most recent acting role was in the NotaBle Acts
Theater
Festival’s street theatre production Do
you Believe?
Though he
has dabbled with a small amount of directing and writing, acting
remains his passion and dream. Maddox Campbell is in his fourth year of
university
and plans to finish his
degrees, but is more than willing to involve himself in interesting
film and theatre productions both during his breaks and after
graduation.

as well as the short film The
Morning After and 3 plays!
November 2007
Maddox worked as a
Technical Director for the play Popcorn
by Ben
Elton. The play took place at Memorial Hall on the
Campus of UNB on Nov. 10, 12, 14, 16th. The play was done by
students.
