Biography:

Maddox was born in Bathurst, New Brunswick, Canada in 1986. He’s moved around a bit growing up, but has been committed to Fredericton since 2004 while he has been finishing off his Bachelor of Arts/ Bachelor of Computer Science (Creative Writer/ Theater) degree at the University of New Brunswick. Go Reds!
Maddox got his start in drama through competitive Improv. in high school. He eventually got into scripted work through the UNB Theater program, having completed the majority of their Fine Arts in Theater Minor already. He had parts in The Madwoman of Chaillot, The Witch, and Unity (1918) for TUNB. Maddox moved into film with roles in two NB Film-Cooperative productions, one short, Temple of the Sapphire Moon, and one feature length, They Didn’t Make It. His most recent acting role was in the NotaBle Acts Theater Festival’s street theatre production Do you Believe?
Though he has dabbled with a small amount of directing and writing, acting remains his passion and dream. Maddox Campbell is in his fourth year of university and plans to finish his degrees, but is more than willing to involve himself in interesting film and theatre productions both during his breaks and after graduation.
